I Am Now Employed By A Dog

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingWell, not technically. But in a way, I do work for a dog. I applied at Target yesterday and it was kind of an intense application process. I had to fill out an electronic application that took almost an hour, then I had to pick up the red phone and tell them that I had just filled out an application. I was then interviewed by one person, who, when she finished, told me I had another interview. That person then interviewed me, and once I was done with that I had to go upstairs for one more "interview" although basically it was just confirming that I was applying and telling me they were going to offer me the job. I had to go today to the Medical Associates Clinic and get a drug screening to be eligible. So I did that.
I have orientation on Thursday starting at 4. It goes on for 4 and a half hours. So I am tied up for Thursday! Anyway my dad was extremely happy that I got a job, and now I get to bring home my car sometime soon. Exciting!

I'm also looking forward to Friday. It's a home football game. And since my parents aren't going to be around and I have to take my siblings to the game and back, my dad said that my friends could all come back to my house after the game. So that will be fun. I will have to get some food and we'll have a bonfire and all that good stuff.

I also have an almost-for-sure homecoming date now. The reason it's not 100% is that he is just starting to date a different girl, but it's not likely that her parents will let her go to homecoming with him, and so she told him it was fine if he went with me, but that she was going to check with her parents to be sure that she couldn't. So I'm kind of praying that she can't-even though that sounds mean. The reasoning there is that she is a freshman and he's a senior so he doesn't think her parents will approve. But I just told him to make sure she knows that we're friends. So hopefully that works out, since I already have a SUPERCUTE dress and I don't really want to go alone.

Things are going good.
