I Love the 80's

Homecoming week starts Monday! I can't believe it's here already. I'm pretty sure I have the dress up days covered now.

Monday is Grafitti Day. We wear a white shirt and take markers and everyone draws on each other. That's an easy day to prepare for.

Tuesday is Rock Star Day. I bought a shirt at Kohls that says "I Rock" with a whole bunch of cute little designs. I'm going to wear my torn jeans, and a pair of converse all-stars that i'll borrow from my friend who has a ton of them. I also bought an inflatable guitar at Target (with a 10% discount...heck yes!). Not sure what I'll do with my hair, maybe make it look kinda choppy.

Wednesday is Freaks and Geeks Day. I'm going to borrow a pair of my dad's old big glasses and pop out the lenses, then I'm not sure about an outfit yet but I'm going to just wear a bunch of dumb stuff.

Thursday is the best. It's 80's Day. I bought a TON of stuff for it. I actually found leg warmers in a store, which I was really surprised about- Claire's nonetheless! I also bought pink leggings there, along with some mod-type jewelry. Black earrings and beaded necklace. I bought an off the shoulder black sweater and a pink beater tank top for underneath. I got a black and white striped plastic headband, and really pointy heels. I'm going to put my hair in a high ponytail (actually that will be hard because I just got my hair cut and it's pretty short) with some kind of scrunchie I think. Either that or just use the headband with my hair down, not sure really.

Friday, of course is Spirit Day. I think a group of senior girls are making shirts at my house tomorrow. We're going to Have them say senior girls on the front and kiss the rebels goodbye on the back (in honor of our "sweet" theme) i think.

So yeah I'm all fired up for homecoming now! I just need some jewelry for the actual homecoming dance. And I need to get my date up there to get his shirt! And order flowers. But other than that... haha.
