I'll Be Home For Christmas

Well I have a lot of blogging to catch up on. And now that I'm home for a whole month, I think I might be able to accomplish that feat. It got so crazy in the last month of first semester, blogging became an afterthought.

But FEAR NOT! blogging world, I have returned! Or something like that. So I am home, as you may have picked up on by now, for Christmas. Which just so happens to be starting tomorrow! It is very exciting and yet very much surreal. I think having finals up until the 21st took the focus so much off the season that I almost forgot about it completely (other than the massive amount of money spent on gifts... that I haven't forgotten). But it is definately here, and I am so glad. The Christmas season is pretty intoxicating, and I love the way our log home looks covered in decorations!

I had an AMAZING time last weekend at the concert in Chicago. I think it has been my favorite time so far during freshman year. We were the second group to get in line, and therefore had an awesome view for the whole show. Of course the moshing moved me around a bit (that is a crazy time) but in the end, I was FRONT AND CENTER for Motion City Soundtrack, my all-time favorite band. It was the best time. And even better that I shared it with my closest friends.

Merry Christmas to everyone, if I don't get the chance to say it later. And I hope you all have the very best holiday possible!
