One Week

It's amazing how fast time flies by. Our trip to see Wicked in Chicago was so far away, and now in exactly one week we will be there! I am incredibly excited. We are going to Dan's house in Downer's Grove on Friday. His parents want to take us to this nice outdoor restaurant if it's nice out. On Saturday we're going to head into Chicago in the afternoon and go eat at a fancy restaurant in the city before we go to the show. We're getting all dressed up, which is fun in itself. I can't wait.

In other news, Amanda's 21st birthday was Thursday night. We went downtown and had a great time. However, when the night was over I was heading back to my room and realized I had left my room keys at the condo, and I had to stay in Chase's room. I looked like such a bum the next day wearing the clothes he let me borrow. And then I had to get back to the condo for my keys and the only shoes I had were my heels! I walked most of the way there barefoot, because the heels looked seriously ridiculous with a guy's pair of athletic shorts. =]

My grandma and grandpa are coming into town tomorrow for a reception of some sort, so I'm going to supper with them. When I talked to my mom on the phone tonight she had no idea that they were coming, which made me laugh. Unfortunately Mom was in Cedar Rapids today and tried to call me but I had my phone off (which I never do... figures) and charging and I was taking a LONG nap. So I wish I could have seen her today but I missed out on that. Dinner with Gramma and Grampa tomorrow should be fun though!
