Phoebe Elizabeth O'Neill

My brother and his fiance had their second daughter last Tuesday! Her name is Phoebe Elizabeth O'Neill, and she is precious. She looks exactly like Audrey did. I think they will be very identical. Sunday on our way back from Milwaukee we had dinner with Krystal, Audrey and the baby. She is gorgeous. And Audrey is getting so big! She has the curliest hair, just like her dad. Hooray for new babies! =]

Body Clock

I have gotten into a pretty nasty habit of staying up until the hours between 1 and 3 every night, especially now that I don't have a class until 12:30 on any given day. However, this takes away my mornings and also causes me to be unable to become tired before 12 at the earliest. Hence my late-night blog writing. I'm actually waiting for some photos to upload, and therefore have to remain awake for the next few minutes. My plan is to try to start going to sleep by 11ish on a regular basis, and 12 at the latest. I usually end up staying in the boys' hall until around that time, but if I get things done while I'm there too, I can just go to sleep as soon as I get back to my room.

I feel like I'm making a lot of resolutions. Not all of them have been kept so far, but I'll work on it!

MasteringAstronomy.com

My Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe class this semester is the first one I've had that requires me to do online homework. Due at 5:00 today, I just completed the first assignment on masteringastronomy.com. It was an interesting experience, sometimes too easy and sometimes oddly frustrating. I managed to get a 93.8%, however, and I am hoping that will be a trend for the whole semester. The class is pretty simple, but some of the concepts are just a little hard to comprehend for me. Of course, I've never been good at science.

I have a couple more assignments to take care of before the weekend; I might do my Statistics and my Interpretation to Literature assignments today. I do have all day tomorrow, but Friday nights are usually late ones, and I might want to do some sleeping tomorrow. Sunday is the Super Bowl and I'm sure I'll be doing something. The ideal situation would be if I were doing my Stats and Lit assignments now, but instead I plan to shower and take care of my hair. I'm working on improving my work ethic, and slowly I think I'm doing all right. I think I'll have a better idea of how I'm doing a little further into the semester.

For now, however, it's time to doll myself up!
