As the year has gone by and my blog has gone dry (yes, that incredibly cheesy rhyme was intentional), I have continued to leave The Talking Muffin bookmarked on my Safari toolbar. I don't really know why... especially considering the blog's coveted 5th position in the bookmark row, putting it ahead of such regularly frequented sites as Hawkmail and YouTube. Maybe it was a subconscious hope that someday I could wrench myself from the pages of Facebook and back to my dusty old blog. An apparently fruitful hope, considering my sudden reappearance today. While I don't anticipate myself being incredibly diligent with my blogging, I will be trying to make it here a little more often. For now, I'm not going to try to write down everything that has happened since May of 2008, but maybe I'll get there some day!
